Tony Shhnow: The Listener’s Guide

Tony Shhnow is probably one of raps hardest to gauge right now in terms of sound. Although he is a rapper, the aim of all of his projects is extremely different and leaves you on your toes wondering what he will do next. Let’s take a look at his catalog

Black Billionaires Club - With Tony providing his own spin over some classic Neptunes beats this is probably one of my favorites by him. An exercise and full blown showcase of the potential he holds as an artist.

Love Streak - His latest project talking about the complexities of romantic relationships through his point of view. With samples from popular R&B songs, this project provides a great look at how to execute a concept:

Plug Motivation - With the obvious spin on TM101, Tony does what he does best and shows his versatility throughout the entire tape. Trust and 10 P’s are probably my favorites.

Da World is Ours Trilogy - I don’t have to say much. With one of his breakout songs Vet, he gained a fan in me.

Reflexions - Although Tony has plenty of other projects, I think this one boosts what his strengths are the most. His ear for production and bringing out the best of the samples used along with his cadence tells me he can throw anything at you and that’s what I love about his music.

Of course Tony Shhnow has other projects and singles, but I feel like those are the best starting points for his catalog.
